Sermon Outline & Small Group Discussion Guide
Date: August 9, 2026
Text: Revelation 22:6-21
Synopsis: After thirty weeks in Revelation, we discover that the book does not end with a theological argument or an explanation of the future, but with an invitation to be ready for Christ’s return. Revelation closes with three realities: a promise, a blessing, and an invitation. Jesus promises, “I am coming soon,” calling us to build our lives around His return rather than lesser earthly hopes. He blesses those who have been washed by His blood and faithfully keep His Word. Finally, He invites the thirsty, guilty, weary, and broken to come freely and receive the water of life. Revelation ultimately calls us to Christ.
