Text: Genesis 15
Synopsis: In Genesis 15, we witness one of the most breathtaking moments in redemptive history, God’s covenant with Abram. In this passage, we see that from start to finish, God alone provides everything we need for salvation. God declares Himself to be Abram’s shield and reward, reminding us that He Himself is our greatest treasure. God counts Abram righteous by faith, showing that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone. And God seals His covenant by walking the bloodpath alone, a foreshadowing of Christ, who would one day bear the covenant curse for us. This sermon invites us to rest fully in the God who shields, saves, and seals His people by grace.
