Synopsis: At the heart of Christmas is the greatest gift ever given. God himself stepped into our world to rescue those who were truly in debt. In John 1, we are invited to behold Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man. This sermon calls us to slow down and contemplate the miracle of the incarnation, not merely as doctrine, but as life changing truth. As we behold Christ’s divinity, we see his eternal glory, authority, and power. As we behold his humanity, we see his nearness, compassion, and saving grace. Christmas is not sentiment. It is rescue. Grace upon grace.
