About our Children's Ministry
At Park South Loop, families begin the Sunday service worshiping together! After opening songs, children (8 months – 5th grade) are dismissed to their Loop Kids classroom for age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, and activities designed to help them grow in their faith. Loop Kids is not simply childcare - it is discipleship! Our prayer is that your child would grow in their knowledge of God and His Word, and that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at an early age. On 5th Sundays and select holidays, children stay for full family services to worship alongside the entire congregation. What to expect when you visit Loop Kids @ Park South Loop:
Before Sunday
We are so excited that you are planning a visit to Park South Loop! We offer classes during service for children 8 months - 5th grade. You can let your child know they will get to learn from the Bible, play with kids their age, and meet caring adults in their classroom. If you have any specific questions or concerns before joining us on Sunday, contact Sophie Brown, our Children's Ministry Coordinator.
When You Arrive
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before service begins to get checked in! Head over to the Children's Ministry table, and the Service Lead will help you sign in. Your child will receive a name tag, and you will receive a matching parent tag (you'll need this after service to pick them up).
We will gladly show you to your Loop Kids classroom and introduce you to the teachers so you feel comfortable and welcomed. Go ahead and find a seat together as a family to participate in worship together!

During Service
At Park South Loop, we prioritize family worship, so your child will stay with you for the beginning of the service! (If you have a child 8-24 months, you may drop them off in the nursery before service begins.)
After the opening worship set, the host will dismiss the children (2yr - 5th grade) to their classes. You may walk them back to their room, or if they are older, they can go by themselves! Be sure to hold on to your parent tag, as you will need it after service to pick them up.

After Service
Bring your parent tag with you to pick up your child. A volunteer will ask to see it before your child leaves! Don't forget to grab the take-home resource given to your child to continue learning about Jesus together at home. We are so glad you are planning to join us, and we look forward to welcoming your family!
