Historically, violence and crime on Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend in Chicago are at its highest. Let's combat that by being Christ's hands and feet as we saturate our communities with the good news of the Gospel! Check out how you can engage in our Summer of Outreach through these events where we're encouraged to be  salt + light throughout the city.

Summer Evangelism Sundays

Join members of Park SL experienced in street evangelism as they engage with neighbors in conversations about faith. Gather next to the Guest Services table after service at 11:45am to convene before the excursion & conversations will take place either at Grant Park on alternating weeks.

Summer Prayer Board

We are challenging everybody at Park SL to commit to sharing the gospel at least one time with somebody in your life. Whether that is a family member, a friend, a neighbor, a co-worker, or a complete stranger, who is it that God has placed in your life to share the good news of Jesus Christ with?  Starting on Sun., June 7th, you can lift up your interactions in prayer using the boards that we'll display by the stage during service.

Summer Large Groups

As our church takes a break from its small group season (which runs from Sept. to May), we encourage you to join us on Tuesday nights for either Men's Summer Ministry or the Women's Summer study! It's a great time of fellowship and invite others outside of our church to attend with you.
